Vitrified Paving and Prestige Artificial Grass

Our client wanted to improve their garden to make it more useable for children and be a low maintenance area.

A small play area was created using Prestige artificial grass. With a 33mm pile height Prestige artificial grass offers a very realistic look with a luxury feel. For the paved areas our Contract18 vitrified paving was used as it is almost completely non porous meaning dirt and algae cannot penetrate the body of the paving. This makes the paved area very easy to clean and with a tested slip resistance of 75 Wet (Low Potential For Slip) they provide plenty of grip under foot.

The Prestige artificial grass was laid on a layer of compacted type 1 with weed protection fabric. The Contract18 vitrified paving was laid on a sand cement mortar bed with an SBR bond bridge to achieve maximum bond between the mortar and the pavers.
