EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) tiles are rubber tiles to which a top layer of EPDM rubber has been applied. EPDM rubber is a new type of colour fast, synthetic rubber.
Synthetic rubber is available in a variety of RAL colours.

Castleflex EPDM tiles are porous and impact absorbing making them suitable for use on playgrounds. Aslon Safe & Soft EPDM tiles comply with the strictest standards for impact protection set by EN 1177:2008.

Dowel joints
Dowel joint are available on Castleflex EPDM tiles with a thickness of 30 mm or more. On two edges of each tile there are four holes. Four plastic pins are inserted into these holes allowing the tiles to be joined together.
